We have been thinking about getting a dog for about a year now. We said when we got our fence up that we would get a dog. Well, our fence was completed a few weeks ago and we started seriously looking. We found Teddy on KSL.com. He is 1 year old, crate trained and the best part...potty trained. His previous owners little girl got cancer and between spending so much time at the hospital for chemo and trying to keep their house spotless, they decided to give Teddy up. Teddy is a miniature schnauzer. He is full of energy and knows tricks too. He is getting used to us but he doesn't know what to think about our bird. We have had 2 close calls with Teddy almost getting a hold of the bird. Maybe Teddy is thinking the bird would make a nice chew toy. Unfortunately for Takum, he has to stay in his cage for now.

Cute little guy!! The real question here is if that dog can retrieve a duck!!!??????? Dogs are great to have around, you'll love it!
The other question is can he herd goats?
I'm glad someone got a dog. We are still looking for one after the Humane Society of Southern Az shot us down.
He could probably do both but there might be less duck/goat then when he started.
oh my gosh i didn't know you got a dog...he is dang cute...they are alot of work but worth it i think...every kid needs a dog!
